Dear David,
I wanted to take a moment today to thank you for helping us with our yard last year. We have gone
thru calling other companies either with them not returning calls, people show up and their prices
are so high you have to take out a second mortgage, or the start and take your money and never
finish the job. I knew immediately when I started with you that you were an honest man and a man
of your word. You have made our yard look incredible and I wanted to write this so that everyone
you touch can experience what we have. From your help in telling us what would help our yard
look great without breaking the bank, to your can do attitude. Your staff is incredible and takes the
same attitude as you and this shows as I never have to sit and watch that you are doing your job,
nor worry that you have taken my money and that's the last I will see of you. This must be why the
"best is last" phrase is true! Since we found you we will not need to look further for someone to
help with our yard, we have found them! I can't wait for us to get our back yard completed! I am
sure that once people find out about you that your phone will never stop ringing.

Sometimes we get super service and don't take the time to write a note. But not

At Empire Yard Maintenance we provide many services like hedge trimming, trash removal, trash hauling, xeriscaping, drip systems, tree
trimming, rock installation, rock removal. We also grind stumps from trees that were cut down in the past. We purchase and install plants.

This was the first time I've hired someone to do yard work and I was very pleased. David, the
owner, came by the morning after I called to evaluate the work to be done and provide a quote. He
was punctual, friendly and professional as we went over the work I wanted to have completed. We
agreed upon a time to have the work done, which was early the following week. The day the work
was completed, I got home from work and the yard looked beautiful. They even managed to get rid
of all the dead leaves and debris that had been stuck in all the river rock since last fall, which I
hadn't had much luck removing myself. David called me about 10 minutes later to tell me he was
sending his crew back out later in the week because the trimmers they had weren't quite sharp
enough to take down some of the Spanish broom in the yard. I was not invoiced until after they
came back out to finish this last bit of work. I was conveniently invoiced via email and was able to
pay the invoice online. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and will definitely continue to
contract Empire for at least seasonal cleanup if not monthly maintenance (which they also offer).
Not having contracted out yard work in the past, I don't have much to go on for price comparisons,
but the cost seemed reasonable to me. As a busy professional with horrible allergies and a lack of
motivation for yard work myself, I feel I received a great value in the service from Empire.
